Our story began over a century ago in 1919, when Liesener Hardware first opened its doors in Jackson, Wisconsin. In 1946, the business became Rheingans Hardware Plumbing & Heating, continuing to serve the community’s growing needs. By 1976, under the name Jackson Hardware, Inc., the tradition of quality service carried on.

In 1989, Gary Wedeward purchased the business, transforming it into Jackson Hardware Heating & Air Conditioning at our current location on Highway P. With over 50 years of combined experience in heating and cooling, Gary and his skilled crew have built a reputation as one of the most trusted HVAC companies in Washington and Ozaukee Counties.

In 2024, we partnered with Sure-Fire Heating & Air Conditioning, a third-generation Lennox dealer from Horicon, to bring our customers an even greater level of expertise, quality, and care while still operating right here in Jackson.
